DIVA COMEBACKS
Never say never. It is a sad fact of life that glorious voices will diminish as divas age. But their artistry can live on. And on. And on. With just a small shift in repertoire (say, from Brunnehilde to Brahms), a diva can re-emerge and enjoy the twilight glow of her career. If the sun hasn't already set, that is. Or sometimes a discographic comeback takes the form of a retrospective reissue that looks back on a worthy, often underappreciated career.
