STUNNING FROCKS
There is nothing that says good taste like a chic concert gown, custom designed by one of the era's top purveyors of haute couture. Lily Pons used to keep a performance diary, noting which gown she wore at each recital to make sure she was never seen more than once in that beige crepe Balenciaga. She had her priorities right. A few of these ladies don't.
